Woojungwon is a dormitory that accommodates undergraduate students who are second graders or higher, graduate students, and foreigners. The 2nd dormitory was built in 2008, and it is a dormitory that first selects and accepts Korean undergraduate freshmen who
entered the school in that year.
2nd dormitory: Dormitory that prioritizes the Korean undergraduate freshmen /
Woojungwon: Dormitory for Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students and Foreigners.
Woojungwon is a 24-hour open dormitory and does not have separate regulations on overnight curfew and procedures for applying for a out of night. However, it is recommended to enter within 24:00 as late as possible since late hours can interfere with the life
and sleep of roommates and other students. If you stay out for a long time, please check the door and window of the room thoroughly.
The International Campus Dormitory(Woojungwon/2nd dormitory) completely restricts smoking, drinking and cooking to create a pleasant group living environment. In case of a violation of the regulations, we are strongly sanctioning them with high penalty points,
warnings, and disciplinary checking out, so please do not violate the rules. However, due to the problem of maladjustment due to the cultural and dietary differences of foreign students, 'foreign-only kitchen' is operated separately in the dormitory zone on
the 1st floor. Please refer to the living guidebook for application and method of use.
Since Woojungwon operates as a dormitory for foreigners, all foreign students who apply during the initial application period can be selected in the dormitory as much as possible. However, if the number of applicants is inevitably adjusted due to the large
number of applicants including Koreans, they may not be selected even for foreign students. And the priority selection criterion is as follows. Also, we do not select foreign students who have excessive penalty points in the last semester or who have a history
of disciplinary checking out.
*Priority selection criterion : Undergraduates and exchange students > Graduate students > Language education students
- Summer Vacation Residence: Application accepted in early June / Winter Vacation Residence: Application accepted in early December. [Details such as selection criteria and personnel will be announced separately. / It is an extension of residence for some
period other than the entire vacation period, and extension of residence to the next semester after the entire vacation period of residence is not allowed.]
- For annual residents, the entire summer vacation and part of the winter vacation(end of January) are included in the period of residence, so you don't have to apply for a separate application.
- Every February is the annual maintenance period of the dormitory, so you cannot live in the dormitory
Since the dormitory has a cleaning and facility inspection period for a certain period of time during the vacation, foreign students must leave the dormitory during the maintenance period without exception. This is to provide a better dormitory environment, so
please understand this matter.
The International Campus Dormitory (Woojungwon/2nd dormitory) aims for clean dormitories. For the pleasant indoor environment of dormitories, trash cans are not operated inside the hallway and lounge on each floor, and separate collection and food waste dumps
are installed and operated outside the dormitory. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
